Output Movie Tab

Here you can set up a size/resolution of the output video and add a text caption to it.

Output Video Tab

Add Caption Check box - When checked it will overprint output video with custom text caption.

Caption Text - Type the text caption here.

 - Select video output size from several "popular" video sizes.

Video size Height and Width - You may directly enter video size here.

Alternatively, here you may select some popular video resolutions from Video Size menu.

Full Screen Preview - When you tick this option the program expands Preview window for a whole monitor. This way if you have Full HD monitor you may generate Full HD video output.

Note: When Full Screen Preview is checked the Preview window has nor caption or borders and it can't be moved or re-sized by mouse. Please note that you still able to resize it by entering Video Size Width/Hight numbers in the corresponding text boxes. It is absolutely granted that you may select the these Width/Hight smaller than resolution of your monitor but some systems (some combinations of Windows OS and hardware) allows you to select Width/Hight of the preview window larger than your existed display resolution. In this case you are able to generate output video with the same large resolution.

Few words about output resolution:

The main idea of the program is to grab content of a video display window and write it into a movie file. The size of the video display window is limited by your software and hardware and as a rule of thumb you may expand the window to a whole display. (Use Full Screen Preview option) However some systems with modern Windows OS and powerful graphic cards allow you to set the size of the video preview larger than that of your connected monitor. If you have one of this system you may generate movies with extra resolution with no additional efforts. (Simply check on Full Screen Preview option and manually enter your extra size values)

If you can't enter Width/Hight size larger than your display resolution or if generated video frames are rendered only within display area limits you may improve the situation by plugging in some larger external display like HD/4K TV set or monitor and move video preview window to that display. Alternatively you may try to change resolution of your built-in display. For example if you use some sort of modern Retina Display notebooks you may have to select 100% resolution that will give you bigger desktop size.
