You may switch Borders and Shadows on and off with check boxes on the Enhance panel at
the main program screen. Please note that you had to press Redraw button to view the
changes.
Borders and Shadows are disabled.
Borders are enabled, Shadows - disabled.
Shadows are enabled, Borders - disabled.
Both Borders and Shadows are enabled.
Since version 2.5 you may use non rectangular transparency masked layers. These layers
may be enhanced with shadow effect. Below are sample pictures with two non rectangular
layers and one rectangular layer in one screen.
You need to uncheck "Rectangular Layers with Borders" check box at the Page
Setup
dialogue to enter masked layers mode:
Non rectangular layers with no shadow.
Non rectangular layers with shadow effect.
Note:
If you will apply shadow and border effects on non rectangular layers while program is in
"rectangular layer" mode at the Page Setup dialogue:
You will get undesired effects like these:
Wrong rectangular shadow with non rectangular layers.
Wrong rectangular shadow and borders with non rectangular layers.
